Saiwanni ba sa san katanga (Roots Do Not Recognise Walls) is a wood assembly relief examining migration, institutional space, and diasporic identity through the metaphor of fragmentation and inevitable burst as a consequence of growth.
Constructed from fractured wood, salvaged architectural remnants, and destabilised structural forms, the work reflects the tension between imposed boundaries and the persistence of movement, ancestry, and cultural memory.
