Behind - The Wall

Behind the Wall explores hidden histories and the intimate spaces shaped by ritual, memory, and cultural experience. Inspired by architectural elements such as the jali screen, the work reflects on the delicate balance between visibility and concealment, protection and restriction.

The title evokes the experience of being present yet unseen - looking out while remaining enclosed. Through clay and material experimentation, the work gives form to the quiet narratives embedded within domestic and social spaces, revealing the ways architecture influences interaction, hierarchy, and belonging.
